Ronny Deloof (BEL) and Philippe Poulet (FRA) won the Vimeiro Ambassador Classics

With double zeros in the two rounds, Ronny Deloof (BEL) and Philippe Poulet (FRA) shared the first place in the Águas do Vimeiro Ambassador Classics Grand Prix. This Grand Prix was the 8th qualifying for the European Cup 2008.

Both Riders had decided not run the jump-off in order to preserve their horses for the Ambassador Cup 2008 taking place next weekend in Barcelona.

Luis Sabino novo Campeão Nacional

Luis Sabino Gonçalves é o novo Campeão Nacional 2008. Este título foi ganho no decorrer do Campeonato de Portugal do Cavaleiro de Obstáculos disputado de 28 a 31 de Agosto no Centro Hípico do Hotel Golf Mar no Vimeiro.
João Chuva é o Vice-campeão enquanto que a anterior detentora do título, Marina Frutuoso de Melo, classificou-se em 3º lugar. Veja os resultados finais.

João Mota vence Grande Prémio no XXV CSN-A**

João Mota venceu o Grande Prémio Bicentenário da Batalha do Vimeiro, disputado no dia 30 de Agosto no decorrer do XXV Concurso de Saltos Nacional do Vimeiro.

O brilhante vencedor recebeu o troféu das mãos de Sua Excelência o Ministro da Cultura, Dr. José Pinto Ribeiro que participou no encerramento oficial das comemotrações do Bicentenário. Veja as fotografias.

Michel Blaton (BEL) wins XV CSI 3*

Michel Blaton (BEL) and Kalimera du Boischaut won the XV Vimeiro CSI 3*.

Graham Lovegrove (GBR) wins XIV CSI 3*

The british rider Graham Lovegrove with Pandur 292 won the Grand Prix in the XIV Vimeiro CSI 3*.

Robert Whitaker (GBR) wins CSI 4*

British Robert Whitaker, placed number 17 on the World Ranking, brilliantly wins CSI 4*’s Turismo de Portugal Grand Prix, which is played at 1,60 meters.
This Grand Prix was a qualifying event for the Olympic Games of Beijing 2008, as well as for the 2009 European Championship.

VIMEIRO SHOW JUMPING SUPPORTS "FUNDAÇÃO DO GIL"

The "Fundação do Gil", with the help of volunteers, has been present at events for which it has been asked to inform of its activity. The Vimeiro Show Jumping, in supporting the "Fundação do Gil" creates an excellent opportunity to let the public know about this Foundation's projects, and allowing the collection of donations, the selling of merchandising or other initiatives. The Children supported by the "Fundação do Gil" deserve our attention.
